Have you visited any of these places of worship in your travels?
(If you missed part one of this series, click here.)
Metropolitan Cathedral, Buenos Aires
Argentina
This cathedral is also the burial place of Argentine hero San Martin. An honour guard is always present at his tomb inside.

Les Eboulements, Quebec
Canada
Every community in Quebec, no matter how small the community is, seems to have a large church. This is the one in Les Eboulements.
Mormon Tabernacle, Salt Lake City, Utah
United States
Do you recognize the Mormon Tabernacle from this view point? We were having brunch at The Roof …a fine restaurtant on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square.
Oamaru, New Zealand
(South Island)
The lovely coloured stone used to create this church comes from a quarry nearby. Not many places in the world have this stone, and many wealthy people have paid a lot of money to build their mansions from the same stone.
Bayeux Cathedral
Bayeux, France
We had come to Bayeux in Normandy, France to see the Bayeux Tapestry and discovered that this cathedral was the original home of the tapestry. Had a late lunch in the shadow of the cathedral and learned some World War II history involving this cathedral by speaking with our waitress.
So, where to now?
