Puerto Vallarta, A glimpse of

Puerto Vallarta Mexico feels like a second home to us. Hope you enjoy our glimpse of this welcoming community.
Most people probably come for the beach…
and will not be disappointed as the beaches along Banderas Bay
are numerous and varied.
We love the sunsets, which come in a wide variety …each evening is a unique experience.
Same with the art. Some of it used to frighten me as it was so different than what I was used to. But now I am comfortable with it and love the variety and uniqueness of it.
Much has a traditional feel, and uses religious themes.
Some looks contemporary but has deep symbolism.
And some is just plain playful.
In Puerto Vallarta one can get their hair braided while sitting on the beach
and then go for a unique, cooling drink.
or if you are adventurous (and the wind currents are favourable) you can go parasailng.
For most of us shopping might be a wiser option.
But be prepared to search some of the back streets away from the main tourist areas if you want unique products. If it is your first trip to Puerto Vallarta, be prepared to bargain with the street vendors and shop around…as prices vary considerably.
There is no shortage of wonderful architecture for the photography and/or history buffs.

So many things to do.
But what attracted us most when we first began coming to Puerto Vallarta?
Well, it was the entertainment. Variety shows like we do not often experience at home.
